Sorry, forgot the sarcasm tags. I was meaning to imply that I already
knew that a the first FC5 CD is insufficient for an absolute minimum
install, and that a reasonably thinking individual would expect it to be
sufficient.

You are almost certainly correct that the discs are not optimally
packed.
