Firefox eats all my processor power

Speaking of javascript, it's not a good idea to be running it. Have a
look at the "Noscript" extension extension for Firefox. It gives you the
option for temporarily enabling javascript for sites where you
absolutely need it ;-) You can also specify which sites you want it
enabled for.
