Hi Ric. Just out of interest. Which program are you compiling?  I looked on 
Google.fr, and all it came up with for "windows.h", was.
Programming with the Windows API,
C++ and Windows, and
Visual Studio C/C++ Header, Include Files.

The last one indicating that windows.h was an MS module

Just being nosy.  Nigel.
