Wacom Intuos3 Tablet

I've been trying to get a Wacom Intuos3 tablet fully functional and keep
running into dead ends. The tablet and stylus work out of the box as a
regular mouse, but this means that the pressure sensitivity don't work.
I tried following the Wacom project's HOWTOs as far as what to put in my
xorg.conf file, but that didn't work either. I think I've solved the
issue of making sure that the mouse is seen as the mouse and the tablet
stylus is the stylus ... there has to be a better way to do all of
this. :)

Anyway, the GIMP doesn't seem to see the stylus as a configuration
option in its Preferences, so obviously something isn't set up right.
Has anyone gotten this working in FC5?
