kernel-2.6.17-1.2139_FC5 problem with ipw2200

When I upgraded to kernel-2.6.17-1.2139_FC5 my wireless connection 
stopped working.
Should I upgrade my firmware, or is there some kind of other problem?
Any ideas?

The computer is a Thinkpad R50e
According to the log it seams that it can't load the Intel firmware. I 
get the following
