Why cant BitTorrent just work?

350 KB/s upload!  You must have a /really/ fast connection.  Ordinary
mortals with just a cable modem or DSL connection would usually want to
leave that out during the download (defaults to 20 KB/s), and perhaps
restart the torrent after with a more moderately increased upload speed.
