Problematic boot messages

During bootup this morning I noted one 'failed' message, then, just as the
screen disappeared, a whole raft of something. The problem, of course, is
that messages disappear so quickly. I presume that the messages in
anaconda.log are the ones to give clues, so can someone help me translate
these:
* failed to unlink /var/lib/rpm/__db.001: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'/mnt/sysimage/var/lib/rpm/__db.001'
* failed to unlink /var/lib/rpm/__db.002: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'/mnt/sysimage/var/lib/rpm/__db.002'
* failed to unlink /var/lib/rpm/__db.003: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'/mnt/sysimage/var/lib/rpm/__db.003'
Are these a problem? What about these:

* development-tools references package pfmon which doesn't exist
* development-tools references package gcc-c++-ppc32 which doesn't exist
Are these regular checks that can be ignored, or are they significant?
Does the reference to openCryptoki have any bearing on my ssh/keychain
problems?
