FC5 Anaconda Hang

Looking at the floppy.py from anaconda-11.0.5-1.src.rpm I was able to
find the warning I got.

It looks like anaconda line 1118 makes the call. The very next thing
done seems to make device nodes.  I checked and there do seem to be
devices in /dev  I was only looking for floppy devices so I don't know
what else was there.  After that I'd need more messages to figure out.
