Thanks, Peter.
I continue to receive the same errors.
Believing that perhaps my kernel build tree was corrupt I uninstalled
vmware and the kernel sources and started from scratch.
(as root)
rpm --install kernel-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.i686.rpm
rpm --install kernel-devel-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4.i686.rpm
cd /tmp
tar zxvf VMware-5.5.1-workstation-19175.tar.gz
cd vmware-distrib
./vmware-install.pl
(accepted defaults until asked to run vmware-config.pl: no)
cd ..
tar zxvf vmware-any-any-update99.tar.gz
cd vmware-any-any-update99
./runme.pl
(script performed patches then asked to run vmware-config.pl: yes)
(accepted defaults)
Same errors as before:
irq_vectors.h not found
NR_IRQS and NR_IRQ_VECTORS undefined.
Anybody have any experiences like these?
Thanks for any help.
