Not your best. Did you test it, or are you just guessing?
Please, folk, if you can offer good advice or even an educated guess,
that's fine, but this is so wrong....
It's possible (though not often desirable) to have a host name that has
nothing to do with network addressability. Remember, it's really the
_network interface_ that has a network address, and it's common for
computers to have more than one network address and more than one
network host name,
For example, most computers answer to the name "localhost."
try this:
ping -c4 localhost
