Hi, I did all that, but it now hangs at "Checking for invitation on callers 
machine". There is no indication of this on my second login.

What else am I missing? Would it help if I gave you SSH access to my 
machine?

chkconfig talk on

(Might need to chkconfig xinetd on to get xinetd running first)
(Also might need to install xinetd if it's not already as well)

Then it should work.
