HALdaemon fails

I tried reinstalling all hal RPMS and still keep having the same issue.
I tried smart fix and there's nothing to fix either. 

I'll try the hal mailing list to get some more detailed analysis of my 
problem.

In case I find the issue I'll report it back to this list.
