I think that your last sentence above makes my point about commiserating
with others.

My analysis is that you have little confidence in your opinion to post
it up separately in bugzilla or fedora-developers list but emboldened by
a few people who will agree with you gives you the confidence to go
forward.

Suit yourself.

My expectation is that nothing will ultimately come of this and thus it
lives in the archives as another topic discussed on this list and dies
there...and that's why I think it is cathartic enough for many to just
have talked about it on this list.
