Is it possible to do CRC in windows xp ? because i have downloaded iso images  in windows and i can't mount my windows ntfs partitions in linux.

Does the CRC match on the downloaded file?

Have you tried:

linux ide=nodma

Or any of the other troubleshooting steps at:

http://www.fedorafaq.org/#otherinstall

Googled it? (hint - google brings up heaps of posts regarding this issue).
