hey claude, geezerhood gets us all! :-)
i've noticed for a long time now that if i hold down the click for a bit
longer than normal -- which i tend to do while i'm thinking about
something else on the page still -- that it gets treated as (apparently)
one click on click-down, and another click on click-up. i'm not sure
but that it's a characteristic of the mouse itself or not, but i've seen
the same thing on multiple os's.
