Configured FC5 to use my Dell 2005FPW display at 1680x1050. I wind up with the monitor acting like a window on a much larger screen. Moving the mouse to the edges displays everything, but I'm not seeing everything at once.

Has anyone got a working xorg.conf for this monitor?

I have it and it works fine after you add the following to your xorg.conf (You should only need 1680x1050 in the Display subsection for 24 bit colour)

Section "Modes"
    Identifier "16:10"
ModeLine "1680x1050" 146.2 1680 1784 1968 2256 1050 1051 1054 1087 -hsyn
c -vsync

Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "Monitor0"
    VendorName "Monitor Vendor"
    ModelName "Dell 2005FPW (Analog)"
    UseModes "16:10"
    HorizSync 30.0 - 83.0
    VertRefresh 56.0 - 75.0
    Option "dpms"
Section "Screen"
    Identifier "Screen0"
    Device "Videocard0"
    Monitor "Monitor0"
    DefaultDepth 24
    Option "Overlay" "True"
    SubSection "Display"
        Viewport 0 0
        Depth 16
        Modes "800x600" "640x480"
    SubSection "Display"
        Viewport 0 0
        Depth 24
Modes "1680x1050" "1600x1200" "1400x1050" "1280x960" "1280x800" "1280x1024" "1152x864" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"

Does anyone have an xorg.conf for a Dell 2405FPW (24" flat panel) which is running as the first of two monitors connected to an Nvidia GeForce 6800 Ultra card? The other monitor happens to be a low quality NEC 17" flat panel, too.

I jsut got the Dell monitor (it is sensationally nice!) and would like to get it working in FC4. I made the mistake of not saving the original xorg.conf file before turning on the FC4 "Dual head" configuration, and now X won't even start for me.
