xsane after update FC4->FC5

Hi,

after updating FC4->FC5, I started xsane, but it failed with 
segmentation fault:

backes at eule [backes]: xsane
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I found out that the reason for this behaviour was $HOME/.sane:
after removing the .sane directory, I could start xsane and scan.
