Disabling screensavers (selectable, not totally)

rpm -e gnome-screensaver

yum install xscreensaver-base

run xscreensaver-demo or select screensaver (with the flame icon) from 
the system > preferences menu.

This will install the configurable version instead of the all, one, 
blank screen or disabled options that gnome-screensaver offers.
