IIRC FC4 does use the smp kernel, On FC5 they are merged and the smp
kernel package does not get installed separately.
This works for me.
# rpm -qa kernel\*
kernel-devel-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5
kernel-2.6.16-1.2080_FC5
kernel-devel-2.6.16-1.2111_FC5
kernel-devel-2.6.16-1.2096_FC5
kernel-devel-2.6.16-1.2080_FC5
kernel-2.6.16-1.2096_FC5
kernel-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5
kernel-2.6.16-1.2111_FC5
The uname command tells me it is running smp which is correct for an AMD
Athalon 64 X2.
# uname -a
Linux raptor.lab.net 2.6.16-1.2111_FC5 #1 SMP Thu May 4 21:16:04 EDT
