Dictionary selection in KMail

Not much time ago, I was able to click View -> Dictionary in the New Mail 
window in KMail an then select the dictionary to be used to do the spell 
checking on message being written. Now, the only option shown in the 
Dictionary combo box is "ASpell default". In Settings -> Spellchecker, 
however, I can see all installed dictionaries.
Why's that?
