Nope, something else is as fault. /mnt/storage is my fat32 partion and...
[pembo13 at Watson tmp]$ cd /mnt/storage/System\ Volume\ Information/
[pembo13 at Watson System Volume Information]$ pwd
/mnt/storage/System Volume Information
