Can you tell us how you fixed those nvidia-related problems?

I've been fighting with both pm-hibernate and pm-suspend
today on my desktop (Asus K8V SE Deluxe), unable to make it work.
I only get a black screen, so I'm suspecting nvidia misinitialization.
