freshclam

Hello,
I have installed clamav, clamav-db, clamav-update & clamav-server too
from fedora extras. I could not update clamav with freshclam and I get
the following error:
ERROR: Please edit the example config file /etc/freshclam.conf.
ERROR: Please edit the example config file /etc/clamd.conf.
ERROR: Can't parse the config file /etc/clamd.conf
In fact, clamd.conf has been copied by me from /usr/share/docs/~. 
Where do I go wrong? Please help.
Why is not this package made to work out of box? Any reasons?
