Well, you get FULL paper control (for use with Photo printing, etc), able to
see when ink is running out (unless it has a display like my MP800R, where it
tells me that on the display) Adjust print resolutions etc.. Plus it supports
a LARGE range of Canon, HP and Epson printers.. I haven't used the Cups
drivers, so I don't know how advanced they have gotten these days.. I got so
used to using turboprint, I haven't bothered checking the cups drivers.
