Perhaps your problem is with you're constructing the TO field? Or you
might want to try different quoting arrangements. The above mentioned
page uses ' rather than ", but the environment that you're running in
might need it done in a certain way.
You might want to give a specific, real, example of a command line that
you've tried, rather than the generalised one you used. Use example.com
for any domain names, if privacy is an issue.
NB: I neither use thunderbird for mail, nor FC6. So I'm only offering
general advice.
