Logging fsck at boot

Surely you'd need another drive on your system to do that.  You couldn't
log to the same partition that you're fscking.  Yes, you could log to
another partition, type of file system problem notwithstanding.  But if
your /var partition was the one being fscked, you're in a bit of bother.
