Error message keeps popping up

Not exactly help, but a data point...

Doesn't happen here, if I create a new text file and call it test.php. 
Nor if I add <?php ... ?> in there.

There isn't an entry for application/octet-stream in the Konqueror File 
Associations dialog either.
