Hi, I have been having problems with the system clock in FC6 test 3.
The system clcok is drifting ahead of the real time even with ntpd
running.

Stoping ntpd and running ntpdate also produces the incorect time,
currently about 6 mins fast but over the course of the day it will get
worse, some days upto 40 mins fast.

At the time I execute the following comans the real time is 10:17 am
on the 22nd of October.
[root at localhost ~]# ntpdate
22 Oct 10:23:55 ntpdate[6884]: no servers can be used, exiting
[root at localhost ~]# hwclock --show
Sun 22 Oct 2006 10:44:17 AM NZDT -0.361729 seconds
[root at localhost ~]#

Looking through the logs for this machine I see this often:

Oct 22 06:52:32 localhost kernel: set_rtc_mmss: can't update from 7 to 52

Any ideas as to what the problem is?
