Help: Machine says it's running hot

UPDATE

This all occurs when the machine is under load. It happened last when
I was doing a sha1sum of the FC6 DVD imames. The case has been wide
open for weeks now. The room isn't warm either.

But lm_sensors did show the CPU at 80 degrees C whehn the messages showed up.

Please advise.
