Hi
Thank you all for helping me. I got information more than what i expect. I read rsync and cron. but little bit confusion. I will discuss with my friends those who know it.
Regarding rsnapshot, i installed rsnapshot in my comp. But really i am telling you i dont know what is the basic command i want to use.
I am giving one example
-----------------------------------------------------
I made directory by name backup in /. I am having *.f files in my home directory. Can you tell me what is the basic command for copy *.f files to /backup using rsnapshot.
How can i configure rsnapshot.conf. Where i have define the file name(/backup) inside /etc/rsnapshot.conf.
Or is there anyother command( like rsync) easyier than it.
Forgive me if i dont know anything. I started learning many things in fedora.

It's no trouble. Yes it has been discussed, however, there's a tool
that I use that works fantastic. It's called rsnapshot (rsnapshot.org)
and they do have RPMs available for install if it isn't in extras.
Check it out and I"ll be happy to help you off-list if you need it. We
use it to backup data to our SAN.
