Installing PECL extensions on Fedora Core 5

Hello all,
 
I want to install the DOM XML extension from PECL on my Fedora Core 5 box
which is running PHP5.

Is there an RPM out there that will do what I need or do I need to go back
to the source for PHP etc and start from scratch?
 
Any help would be gratefully received.
