unload and load kernel-modules for suspend

What is the best way to unload a kernel module for suspending and then
load it after resume? I presume it's one of the pm-utils scripts?

I just need a /sbin/modprobe -r <module> and /sbin/modprobe <module>

this is for an out of tree driver.
