Right, there are libglade and libglade2 packages (and each have
corresponding -devel packages. Using yum-builddep gtkpod should have
pulled the correct stuff in for you. Did it not do that?

Once you install libglade2-devel configure will find it. Using
yum-builddep should get all of the things gtkpod's configure will
need.
