SeaMonkey is the community branch of Mozilla Suite. When Mozilla
foundation decided to concentrate on Firefox and Thunderbird instead of
the suite, a group of independent community developers took over
development and called it SeaMonkey which was the codename for the suite
earlier.

SeaMonkey is a browser suite which includer a browser, mail client and
other things while Firefox is just a browser. There are some differences
in user interface between them. The underlying codebase is very similar.
