Today Uno Engborg did spake thusly:
> I'm trying to connect a new unformatted disk, using usb to fc5.

Open a console, and with the disk unplugged from your USB, type (as root)
tail -f /var/log/messages
Hit return a few times, or type in a line of ============== or something
so you can see your start point
Then plug the device in and watch what happens. That should tell you all
you need to know. However, I'm unsure as to whether or not the driver will
work correctly with an unformatted disk, I'm guessing so, but never tried
it...
