Procedure to replace a NIC.

mii-tool responds:
SIOCGMIIPHY on 'eth0' failed: Operation not supported
no MII interfaces found

I could be wrong, but I think mii-tool is depricated, and also will not 
work with a Gigabit interface as a result.

The cable is tested and working fine. Also, when it is plugged into the 
NIC and the router, lights at both ends light up green. Any 
recommendations? Thanks!
