I've been using a Lucent/Avaya/Orinoco PCI card for 4 or 5 years.
This is an Orinoco Gold Card (11b) in a PCI to PCMCIA adapter.
I've been very happy with this arrangement,
though I recently bought a LinkSys router which will probably replace it.
