Changing IP address on Fedora 4

Tim, thanks for your help. I'm all set I've found the solution to my problem.
joe, iptables -L returns,
Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
tcpdump -X -i eth0 returns too much output because I am connecting
with ssh at the same time.
