You can completely wipe out the disk by booting the FC5
installer disk in rescue mode and do a:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hxx bs=1M count=128
(replace hxx with the correct device name - be
careful if you have other disks in the machine,
there's no "undo").
This will erase the first 128M of the disk.
Reboot the installer and you can install on a
blank disk.
