LAN connection FC5 - RH7.2

Thanks a lot, Nigel, setting up vsftpd absolutely did the trick. It has 
been a long day with much consentration,
so that may account for my mixing up the FTP client and server.  I may 
have dererved a rest now,
so I'll watch the news on TV. :-)
