Correct but... I just wanted to point out the st_ctime is the creation of 
the inode or other inode data changes, but that for the level of the 
person asking the question, ctime really is the file creation data (in all 
likelyhood). Other operations (besides touch) which will stomp on ctime,
are any functions which effect the inode of a file. This would include 
things like chmod, chown, chgrp, ln (i.e., ln without -s).
