Probably the one thing that sways my opinion about a client is how good
or bad it quotes. The top things that spring to mind being:
I like being able to highlight something, and reply to that message, and
only what was highlighted gets quoted.
I like clients that quote verbatim, until I re-arrange paragraphs.
I like clients that neatly stack the >>> quote indicators, not leaving a
higgedly piggedly mess of > > >> and > >>> all over the place.
I like editors that work like word processors. They wrap as I type, in
the manner that the post will be sent, and they don't need line ends
manually fixing up if I edit in the middle of a paragraph.
It goes without saying that it should do proper threading and have
sensible keyboard navigation.
