and drifting A LITTLE off-topic... I bought recently a brother laser printer
(HL-2070N) and it works like a charm without any effort at all. I'm using
Centos-4.4 at home. plugged in the USB cable from the printer and up pops
a configuration dialog. accepted defaults and voila! it's been working
ever since. (Not a MF device, I know, and they tend to be different...).
