Video is terrible in FC6

Are you trying to solve the wobbling display or the changing settings?
Simply moving the location of the monitor may change the wobble, if
you've got electromagnetic interference from something near it.  Hand
editing the xorg.conf file to preset a specific monitor, or provide
specific parameters, and/or remove some automatic options might help
avoid the changes.
