Installing KDE programs in Gnome

Yes, and enough of KDE to run them will have to be installed, as well
(you don't have to be in KDE, they'll run in Gnome).

Yes, yum install the program you want, and it'll get the extra bits it
needs, if you don't already have basic KDE files on your system.
