And your IP address, and the knowledge of which mirrors were up-to-date
last time it checked.  It uses that and something like GeoIP to deliver a
customized mirrorlist.  Go on, try it.  Mine says it's for the US and
contained 32 mirrors when I posted last, and 20 now.
