Evolution icons disappear after reboot

What's even stranger, the problem can be cured by running evolution from
a command line (shell) rather than from the desktop. It stays fixed
till the next reboot. It's also interesting that the selinux
permissions (ls -lZ) are not changed by the rpm installation.
