No Lonni, that's not quite true. If you happen to enter Nvidia through
http://www.nvidia.de/object/linux_de.html (the first page Goggle offers 
over here when searching for 'nvidia linux'), then 1.0.6939 is the 
legacy driver that you will get. Perhaps one of your colleagues might 
try to update.
