You can still run the DOS version of Word Perfect on Fedora.  I do that very
thing, in fact, using DOSEMU.

On a somewhat related note, if you're planning to write a book about Fedora you
should insure that you have a very good understanding of the subject matter that
you're writing about.  Frankly, you don't currently possess that, so I would
recommend that you find another subject to write about - something that you do
understand -  and address that instead.
