F8 Network Woe

Yes this is certainly worth checking - 
in the files 
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
and other ifcfg-*** files
if both have static addresses set up then they should be different.

If they are the same then this could be the origin of the problem
